My first full length album, featuring 11 original songs. I was fortunate to have Ritchie Rubini produce this work, that included an All-Star cast of Delmarva musicians.

I wrote this song for my father and released it on his birthday. It came as a memory from my childhood of driving to visit my mom's parents in Baltimore. He would play these two Best of Motown tapes in the car, and those songs were amazing. After one of the greats, "Tracks of My Tears" or "Heatwave", he would declare, "they don't make music like that anymore." And he was right. My father never played an instrument, but he knew what to play on the radio.

Over the past year, these songs kept coming. I never set out to write protest music, but that's how it came out. In 2024, I was awarded the Delmarva Folk Fest's Folk Hero Award, accompanied by my bandmates in RAR- Mark Arnold and Jim Russell. While joking about being called a "hero", I think something in me felt a responsibility to write new material that was unashamed to tell the truth as I see it. I really do feel that the songs represent the best way for me to express my dismay and to share it with the good people I know. Folk music is for the people, so here it is.
