I never set out to write political songs, but they just kept coming. Frankly, I think these are more personal than that. It's important to me that the cover art, done by Corey Meyers, is red, white, and blue, because I believe this album is patriotic, and I share it with hope that our country can do better.
Was exciting to get back into the studio with Ritchie Rubini, who produced the EP and played harmonium and brushes. I was also joined by the very talented Laura Beth Jewell on fiddle/violin and my dear friend and badass musician Jim Russell on the standup bass.
